Turns out, Daisy is awake as well.
It’s just that she is not use to “people” early in the morning. Much less after a long winter nap. So, when I saw her first time, we did not talk at all. We exchanged glances. I could feel she was getting antsy with me being so close. And, before I knew it, she was heading back to her burrow with cheeks full of snacks.
She will get better as the season progresses. We will be good friends again. I am sure of that.
