I am a loner by nature, but every now and then I find myself longing for company. So, today I spend my entire afternoon watching hummingbirds arrive at their feeder for a sip or two.
They are lovely little birds. Their arrival is always announced with a flutter of their tiny wings. Every now and then they will chirp a little. And, more often than not they will perch on the neighboring tree and observe their feeder to make sure that no intruders dare to drink from it. But, as the luck would have it…the longer they wait, the more intruders arrive. Well, this is something I am familiar with…
