As every year this time, Canadian Geese returned to the nearby lake to raise their young and few days ago a young Mother Goose was spotted strolling with her gooslings. I always like to watch the little balls of yellow fluff as they follow their mother everywhere she goes.
And since adult geese loose their flight feathers during the breeding season, the mother does a lot of walking and swimming, of course. The young stay always very close to her, but they never fail to engage in mischievous activities.

they doze off……

……and sometimes they do wonder away. Luckily, their father is watching them too.
