March is usually cold, wet and unbearably muddy. But, its mischievous nature often makes it unpredictable. This morning , for example, there was snow outside my door!

I am not fond of March, even though its moodiness always promises a better weather to come. The days are getting longer and brighter and I am not as sleepy anymore. It is a perfect time to start thinking about spring cleaning and some good ole’ underground construction. As a chipmunk I have a great penchant for tunnels and I can never resist the urge to dig, excavate and expand…but digging in the snow is never something I long for!
