I woke up to a foggy morning today.
The often vibrant backyard I open my eyes to each day hid behind a milky veil of tiny droplets that traveled lazily toward the thirsty grass. As I watched them descend, I noticed some land on a large spider web suspended over my head. Slowly they began to form an intricate string of lustrous pearls. It was an unusual sight. One I do not witness each day – a beautiful string of pearls that belonged to Tiffany’s Ziegfeld Collection. I find it interesting how we do not realize that world’s most opulent gems are often right in front of us… and not on the corner of 57th Street and Fifth Avenue.
