What is this smell?
Can you smell it? Right there…when you lean forward a little.
Hmmm. Warm and inviting, with a promising breeze; with rays of sunlight teasing my whiskers and brushing, ever so slightly, all the stripes on my back.
At last! I can smell the sweet and balmy air of Springtime! How exciting!
In Search for a Better View
Every morning after I wake up I run out to marvel the view outside my burrow. It is usually so peaceful and refreshing, but my view from 3 inches above the ground is usually reduced to few spring marvels.

Rainy April Day
We’ve had quite a day today. The entire Northeast was drowning in the rain, and sadly my little corner was no exception. For a while we were expecting severe weather with high winds and all, but in the end none of it panned out….just the rain with big and heavy rain drops that kept crushing agains the stone deck, and banding still fragile blades of grass.
